I-10 Calcasieu River Bridge Project Groundbreaking
Franklin Associates spearheaded the comprehensive event management and multi-agency coordination for the I-10 Calcasieu River Bridge Replacement project’s groundbreaking ceremony.
Franklin serves as the Public Information consultant for the I-10 Calcasieu River Bridge P3 project, which will replace the aging Calcasieu River Bridge and bring additional improvements along a 5.5 mile strecth of I-10 in Southwest Louisiana. Under the P3 contract, the existing bridge will be replaced and I-10 widened to six lanes, with three lanes in each direction.
Franklin Associates spearheaded the comprehensive event management and multi-agency coordination for the project’s groundbreaking ceremony. Our team directed all onsite logistics, audio-visual production, and complex ceremonial protocols while seamlessly aligning participation across the Governor’s office, Louisiana Department of Transportation & Development, federal agencies, local municipalities, stakeholders, and media.
Accomplishments
Within three months, Franklin facilitated numerous multi-agency meetings, managed invitation process, designed graphics and collateral materials, and led the day of event execution. Part of this successful engagement was execution of a targeted media strategy that generated more than $570,000 in earned media coverage for this milestone with over 200 attendees present.
