Brandy Bones

Vice President, Disaster and Grant Management

Brandy has spent 17 years working throughout the United States supporting state and local governments navigate and demystify the complex disaster recovery and resilience landscape. She began her career supporting Hurricane Katrina Recovery and since then has helped plan, design and implement housing, infrastructure, buyout and economic development programs in over a dozen states and 2 regions. Prior to joining Franklin Associates, Brandy was a Vice President at ICF where she managed the company’s disaster mitigation line of business including FEMA and HUD funded projects throughout the country.

She specializes in helping disaster-impacted communities maximize funding to build resilient communities and improve outcomes and economic opportunities for traditionally marginalized populations most affected by disasters. Brandy is a certified urban planner, holds an MBA from the University of Florida and a B.A. from Colgate University, and is the Board Treasurer of the National Hazard Mitigation Association.
