Leatrice Dupré

Project Manager

Leatrice is our Communications Project Manager at our New Orleans bureau. She comes to us with more than twenty-five years of communications experience. She has a background in media relations, public relations, marketing, community relations, crisis management, governmental affairs, and project and social media management. She has led important initiatives in both private industry and in government. She has been responsible for the dissemination of information across the globe, often at accelerated rates. After Hurricane Katrina cast the city of New Orleans into an international spotlight, Leatrice’s communications efforts allowed hundreds of thousands of New Orleanians to find the resources desperately needed to return and rebuild their homes and their lives, a task in which she is most proud of. When asked why she chose communications as a career, she says because communications can change lives, bring people together, and give a voice to the voiceless.

Leatrice has spearheaded several high profile, multi-million-dollar communications efforts from community rebuilding to major infrastructure improvements. She was also involved in the rebuilding of the criminal justice system in New Orleans and has had the esteem pleasure to team up with the White House Communications Department to conduct a media tour for a former First Lady of the United States. Leatrice is a people person who enjoys engaging with others and is a compelling relationship builder.

She attended Loyola University New Orleans, where she studied Mass Communications with a focus in broadcast journalism.
